Westfest is a party like no other! Each year more than 100,000 people attend Westfest during the outdoor, three-day celebration of Canadian art and culture. As a free multidisciplinary art festival dedicated to showcasing Canadian artists and their work in an accessible and inclusive setting, this year’s Westfest will take place at Laroche Park, filling this riverside green space with a variety of artistic disciplines, such as music, contemporary dance, visual art, media art, performance art, spoken word, poetry and fiction readings, Aboriginal art forms, children’s entertainment, buskers, street performers, and much more.

What a lovely night! It was such a pleasure to play in front of a great Ottawa crowd for CBC's "Heart My City" concert on March 21st. Other acts included: DJ Memetic, Jim Bryson, Amanda Rheaume, Jeremy Fisher and Kalle Matteson.

March 24, 2016
I will be performing on March 24th at a dinner supporting creative youth. Two youth will receive funding from A.R.T. in Action for a creative project and for a business venture, respectively. The $60 ticket includes a 3 course meal, some music from me, an instructed night of painting and an opportunity to support youth to reach their creative dreams.

A Great Night of Music with Yaa-Hemaa to Raise Money for Paipir Primary School in Uganda
Join us for a great night of music. The night begins with the sounds of Duo D'Accord and then you will be treated to the soulful sounds of Yaa-Hemaa as she treats us to her favourite classica and contemporary pieces. 
The proceeds for the night will go to installing solar power at Paipir Primary School in Uganda. 
Tickets $12 students / $15 for non-students at the door. 
African jewellry will be available for purchase.

It feels like a really exciting time right now. Winter seems to be dying down; the days are longer; and it feels like my creative pursuits are bearing more fruit. I've started working on my first EP with producer Phillip Victor Bova (thanks to the contributions of my crowdfunding backers!) and can't wait to release polished songs and new interpretations of my music this spring.

I'm also looking forward to participating in some special events in the coming weeks and months.
